The NVBS asks all members in good standing to read and submit comments on the proposed version of the by-laws.

As the current by-laws stand, the Board of Directors are the only ones who can vote to make changes to the document.  We wanted to run our efforts by you, the membership, before we put this new version into action.  As you’ll see in the proposed version of the by-laws, we shift responsibility back to the voting membership for future changes.

The comment period is open until February 17th to afford the Board of Directors time to review your comments  and make revisions before finalizing the new document and announcing it at the March 1 meeting. 

Please submit any comments citing page numbers, sections, and paragraphs of each comment and submit them by e-mail no later than February 17, 2012.
